Midweek Mental Health Reminder
On Grieving and Dealing with loss
The universe has been hitting us hard lately. We lost the Purple One, only to to turn around in the midst of our grief and have Afeni Shakur get called home too. One of our own here is currently dealing with the loss of a family member. Death can take a toll on you, and as an artist it is important to allow yourself time to grieve.
Some of us channel our all into our art. Some of us don't do anything at all. Don't shame yourself for how you grieve. Take as long as you need and do what feels most natural for you. Death is going to happen for as long as we live, and learning how to deal is something we have to be ok with so we don't lose ourselves in grief. Cry. Write it out. Scream. Punch something (a pillow preferably). Run. Laugh. Do what you need to do. Don't let anyone tell you when to “get over it” because you never get over losing someone, you just get through.
Sometimes death can cause you to reevaluate your life and put focus on the things that really matter. With that being said, IllVibeTheTribe will be on a new posting schedule from here on out. We’ll still be delivering dope content weekly, just scaling back to every Wednesday at 3pm. We want to focus on bring more art endeavors to the community & expanding our brand. We hope you'll continue rock with us as we move and grow.
Stay motivated and moisturized!
Love always,
The Tribe❤️
